Washington, DC On Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM ET, Former Ambassador Norman Eisen, legal scholar, and counsel to the first impeachment and trial of former President Donald Trump, Defend Democracy Project and others will join a virtual press briefing to discuss the urgent need for Donald Trump to be held accountable for his crimes ahead of a third run for president, including the criminal conspiracy to overturn an election he knew he lost. 

Donald Trump deserves further accountability for his role in trying to overturn the results of the election. Attention now turns to the multiple investigations he faces into his role in planning the criminal conspiracy to overturn an election he knew he lost including the case in Georgia, the DOJ investigation of January 6th, and other probes of the fake electors scheme.
